If you are experiencing connection problems and the power-cycling procedure below doesn't fix it, please file a trouble ticket.

Generic power-cycling instructions:

NOTE that these instructions are GENERIC and your individual equipment setup may vary.

If you have any questions regarding this procedure, contact MRIC Support BEFORE proceeding!

***DO NOT PUSH THE RESET BUTTON*** !!!!
unplug the power plug to your radio (the box connected to your antenna) from the wall or UPS. This would also be a good time to make sure the UPS is working!
unplug the power plug to any of your own network equipment (if you have any) such as a router, wireless access point, etc. from the wall or UPS.
turn off your computer.
WAIT ONE MINUTE. [IMPORTANT]
plug the power back in to your radio (the box connected to your antenna).
WAIT ONE MINUTE. [IMPORTANT]
plug the power back in to your own network equipment (if any).
WAIT ONE MINUTE. [IMPORTANT]
turn on your computer and log in.
try to access the internet.
Contact MRIC Support if this did not solve your connection problem.
